Akira

Akira is an animated cyberpunk film directed by Katsuhiro Otomo, written by Otomo and Izo Hashimoto, and produced Ryōhei Suzuki and Shunzō Katō. It tells the story of Shōtarō Kaneda, a biker gang leader whose friend, Tetsuo Shima, acquires telekinetic powers after an accident, causing chaos for the dystopian metropolis of Neo-Tokyo.
