PushingUpRoses's review of Sleepwalkers

That Time Stephen King Went (Even More) Off the Rails

PushingUpRoses examined another buckwild Stephen King adaptation and this time it was Sleepwalkers, his first screenplay exclusively written for the screen, rather than book-to-screenplay. The film tells the story of vampiric shapeshifters who suck the life out of human female virgins. And they’re terrified of cats. PushingUpRoses reviewed the movie and picked out every plot hole with aplomb (as usual).

I remember seeing this film in a TV guide in 2001, aged 12. I was intrigued despite my fear and thought it would be way scarier than it turned out to be, according to PushingUpRoses’s review. Incestuous werecats scared of domestic cats? What was Stephen King on?
