Look at the pretty cats! This was taken from the 1876 book, The Domestic Cat, by (William) Gordon Stables which detailed cat breeds, their traits, anatomy, and behaviours. Stables was a Scottish navy doctor, adventure fiction author, and lover of cats—and dogs.
