Following on from our post “A Cheatsheet Of Typographic Characters And How To Use Them“, you might be interested in this brilliantly designed glossary of typographic terms by design software company Canva. If you’ve ever wanted to know what those curls at the end of posh lettering are called, now you can find out.

Some of these I knew but I had no idea the embellishment that connects a ligature was known as a gadzook. I just thought that was an exclamation like zoinks or jeepers.
